I started the yonique blog to help people find themselves and their happiness, as I am on my own journy to find mine.
My hope is that the yonique blog helps people cope with their daily lives and shine brightly.
For as long as I can remember, I have always struggled with accepting myself just as I came. I always hated a part of myself be it physical, emotional or mental. It was once my skin color, then my weight and then my thought process. I always tried to sabotage myself to cope with the rejection of others until I learned that if I had to learn to love myself, I had to admit to myself, the ugly truth;
I hated everything about myself.
After I had admitted it, I had never been better and I just want to spread this positive energy. I want girls and everyone else to feel like they can also drag themselves out of the hole and be happy too.Β
